Brad

Brad has been involved in the arts for over 15 years and has studied, developed, and trained in several disciplines of dance from Modern to Majorette, whilst also completing qualifications and exams with the London College of Music, attaining awards as high as a Level 8 in Musical Theatre and Performing! All of this aligned with him graduating with a first class honours degree in performing arts from the University of Sunderland in 2022. He has performed in a huge array of productions both professionally and in amateur theatre, with more performances to come. His favourite style would have to be musical theatre, the varying choreography, along with the challenge of having to sing and express yourself whilst performing the choreography is challenging, but the feeling of accomplishment at the end makes it all worthwhile. This is exactly what he wants the future generations to feel whenever they come off stage!

Caitlin

Caitlin began her passion for dance at the very young age of two years old, building her technique and developing her style through ballet, where she diligently worked to earn high-level exams. From there, she progressed to competing in various styles such as Hip Hop, Lyrical, and Pom/Cheer. In 2018, Caitlin attended MGA Academy of Performing Arts, where she attained a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Dance for Commercial Performance. Since then, she has acquired valuable performance skills and choreography experience through her training at MGA. Since assuming the role of a teacher at Next Step in 2022, Caitlin has nurtured her love for teaching, relishing the opportunity to create new dances each week for a diverse range of age groups and styles. Additionally, Caitlin has joined the Competition team at Next Step, where she has explored new group styles of jazz, as well as choreographed numerous solo, duo, and trio dances for thrilling competitions across the UK.

Hannah-Beth

Hannah-Beth joined the Next Step family in 2015 when she was 12. In 2016, Hannah-Beth began teaching as an assistant, helping out with summer schools and hip-hop and cheerleading classes. During this time Hannah-Beth achieved a qualification in Dance Leadership and began working towards being able to teach her own classes. She loves to teach the littlest members of the Next Step family and her favourite styles are HipHop and Tap. In 2020, Hannah-Beth started teaching her own preschool ballet/jazz/tap and junior tap class. After this, she went on to teach a junior cheer class and a preschool cheer class. Now she teaches preschool ballet/jazz and hip hop as well as mixed-age tap. Out with dance, Hannah-Beth is currently in her fourth year of university where she is studying primary education, she is due to graduate during summer and she cannot wait to begin this next chapter of her life and wants to be able to continue fostering her love of dance through teaching within Next Step.

Ellie

Ellie has been a part of next step for 10 years, after beginning as a pupil in Musical Theatre aged 11. At 13, Ellie went on to assist Amy and Shaunna in dance classes where her love for teaching began! She then went on to achieve an A in SQCF Level 6 Dance and became a class teacher aged 18. Ellie loves to teach a variety of styles, her favourites include Musical Theatre, Contemporary and Jazz and has taught a huge variety of styles, especially when covering Amy and Shaunna’s maternity. Ellie currently teaches our tiny steps and loves to be able to teach the smallest of dancers and watch them grow and develop into young ballerinas and hip hopers! Outside of dance, Ellie is soon to qualify as a registered children’s nurse! Ellie loves her next step family and can’t wait to get into the studio every week!
